Hello dear friends,
I am very happy to see that you were looking for us through Internet - this is a great honour!
Thank you for visiting our newly enhanced website and taking the time to read about our wonderful organization.
First of all I would like to thank all my "sisters", the circlers- friends from many countries- who made this dream a reality, by giving me the chance to be the LCI President for the year 2011-12.
During our lives we have several meaningful journeys to travel through, the journey of maturity, the career journey, the motherhood journey and many more....
This is our odyssey - our life journey which contains many special moments to carry with us for a lifetime.
In my eyes- a special and meaningful journey is one that changes the passenger and leaves his mark on his heart and soul for many years to come.
That is our journey in the Ladies Circle International organization- many special moments of ‘Friendship & Service’, surrounded by friends from 37 countries across the globe and supporting less fortunate communities-without a doubt a life changing journey!
Our organization was founded in Great Britain & Ireland 75 years ago- then the goals and objectives were different, but the motto was the same "Friendship & Service".
Over the years we have grown to be an international organization, adopted many new countries to our family and we are now approx. 13,000 members.
So- what are we doing???
We are young, vital ladies under the age of 45 who are connected together in a special want- to make this world a better place to live in!
Together we are doing hundreds of services project all over the world- circle projects in the cities, a national project in each country- and a main international project every 2 years.
All of our activities and projects are under the atmosphere of friendship- as we believe that this is the way to get things done.
We are upraising colour, culture, and religion and politics differences- and only trying to make a positive change.
Every member of every country in our organization is a sample to this motto, and represents the beauty in our world.
With this in mind, all nationalities working towards the same goal I opted for the motto this year which is Sharing is Caring.
I am sure that each and every special circler can tell you that this is a life changing journey to be a part of something so amazing- our families can also share these feelings of love and hospitality wherever they go- and in this world it is a very unique feeling.
If you are a circler- I wish you a great circling year because of
Sharing is Caring.
And if you are not a circler yet- you can join us, we would like to have you!
Yours in friendship,
Sharon Taitz
LCI President 2011-12
