Denmark. September 2005

Dear Ladies around the world.

Thank you for giving Ladies Circle Denmark and especielly my club Ladies Circle 18 –Svendborg the possibility to support the next LCI Charity Project 2005-2007 – ”An Orphanage in Kathmandu, Nepal. As you maybe saw in Island we were really happy to win and have the first project ever in Denmark, but another thing what really maid us happy was that we now had the opportunity to give these children their ”own” home instead of moving in and out of different houses. Sometimes they have to do this because the rent often from one month to another can raise within 100 % and the people behind the orphanage can’t afford this.

The Danish woman behind this project – Vibeke Pedersen – is going to Nepal at the beginning of October where she will start looking for a place to build a house. The Ground will cost about 10.000 – 15.000 EUR.

We will send you information, pictures and maybe tips about what we have done to collect money and if you have tips for us I would be very interested.
