A raining day me and my husband sat us in our car for the 400 kilometres drive to Holstebro. When we get there in the afternoon we have something to eat and then we go to the registration. We were warmed welcomed. After checking in to the house that we were living with three other Swedish people, change clothes and we where ready for the Home parties. BUT…….
Where are the buses? Everybody has left already. Lucky us, there were some friendly people who give us ride in a limousine so we get to our home party and we have a very nice eavning. Firs at the home party then at the disco after.
Breakfast was served at the place where the AGM should be hold. The AGM start at 10.00 AM and without any stop we finish at 3.00 PM. It was interesting to see the different from AGM in Sweden but you recognize so much. A little bit of feeling “Same, Same but different".
Lunch was served after that in the same building together with Round Table.
After that the International guest was invited to the Mayor of Holstebro. We see a film from Holstebro and get a gift from the Mayor. Then it was time to get home for change to the nice dress and go to Gala Dinner, but first we have a drink with Denmark’s President. The gala dinner was different from Sweden where you sit at the table and be served. Here was “going table”. We have a very nice night again.
After waiking up in Sunday morning and have a nice breakfast at a hotel we sat us in our car to drive home. We were richer than when we left. We have had a very pleasant weekend, meat new friends and have an experience that you don’t forget.
