Cowboys and indians, cowgirls and more. LC and RT Swedens AGM had the theme wild wild west, and belive me, It was wild!
This AGM had everything!

Most of the participants arrived already thursday afternoon! A short presidents dinner, was followed by party nr1. There were guest from many countries, I have no idea how many but will try to rememer as well as I can. Circlers from Norway, Denmark, and tablers from Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Denmark and GB&I. Tangents and 41-ers so it was a wonderful mix. Approx 1000 participants all in all!

The Swedish national board invited all international guest on a really nice picninc friday morning. Lovely food and wine, and ofcourse lots of laughter! Here Hildegunn Norways President, Eva Christina Norways Ipp and Helle Denmarks IPP enjoys theire sandwich and drinks!

Most of the guest had realy made an effort to get a really nice costume. The same weekend the students in Varberg had theire party to celebrate the end of 12 years of school. We met some other tourists and they shaked theire heads and asked, "what is going on?" I can asure you that wearing extra hair is hot! The homeparties were really fun, and the one Kathleen and I attended had some great moments and one not that great. One tabler undressed and ran around the room just wearing a tiny tanga with a elefant nose in the front! A sight I still have problems getting out of my mind!

Johanna won the Friendship cup, an award given by the circler for promoting side by side. Sort of a "circler of the year" award .A well diserved honour. She had traveled to all cirles in her area in her year as area chairlady, and she has attended the German, Norwegian and Swedish agm.And she attended the MTM in Lithuania. She is a lady we sure will se more of in the years to come!

What is there to say, does it look like we are having fun? It was fun, great bands and Dj`s playing all the time, and it was not easy to get to bed! Here a great sample of nordic circlers... Some with a quite unrecognisable hair! Here you see Hildegunn, Eva Christina Susanne in the back, not sure abut nr 4 from left, then Lenette, Efi and Christina. and Lisbeth.

Eva was elected president at the AGM. She presented her motto; Do well and recive good!
The hand over of the jewels were at the Galla dinner saturday evening! Unfortunately I do not have photos of this, but it was done while "unchain my heart" was palying out loud on the speakers. Did not take much time, and did not stop us from dancing on tables!
The swedish Galla dinner was something really special! The big room was beautifull deorated with white flovers, and the lights and all was just perfect. Good live music, and circlers and tablers were on tables before we finished the starter. So much fun. A couple from a country in Europe ( which country is a secret) hessitated quite a bit, but by dessert they got up on theire chairs at least. So they got theire part of the fun.

Well, there were a lot tablers there, and here you see the from left to right Stefan, RT Swedens IRO and Daniel RT Norways IRO.
Well dressed for presidents coctails thursday evening. Always in a good mood. Two special tablers, who took good care of me this weekend and a couple weekends before. Stefan is Married to Camilla and they homehosted me there at the Akka Charter just a few weeks earlier.
Daniel and his wife Maria gave me a lift from Oslo to Varberg, and we had a good and safe drive.

So many tablers had RT tatoos. Glad we are showing in an other way that we are circlers. We prefer rings, earrings, necklesses and bags..
The entire weekend was great. The Swedish agm is a big party, but in a way were you are able to talk to other people and get to know them well. Talking to the circlers I understood that they always have a new thing to look forward to. Just a few weeks after the AGM a lot of the ladies were going on a bike-event, and they were all ready for next years AGM. No wonder you have to register early for the Swedish AGM.
My recommendation is GO TO SWEDEN NEXT YEAR. I hope to come back!
