The evening started with a welcome greeting to all guests. We played Seetha’s presentation. And guests were asked to say a few words. Banners were exchanged as well as presents. Seetha’s presentation followed with her song with us holding hands and singing along. The past presidents were given a red rose and the president praised their work done so to reach the 25th year of existence of this club in our country.
Mary Eracleous the charter president started singing our LC Cyprus song and all the ladies followed her. We all started singing holding hands. It was very touching.
Then through a power-point presentation, we travelled back to past, bringing back memories and moments that we will treasure for ever. Let the music play …… That was the next step because girls wonna have fun…aaaaand the music of zorba started to play. A group of 4 ladies including Nayia our IPP and myself, showed that we circlers can dance too. Then everybody joined us on the dance floor. Seetha as well, and she was great. Well done Mrs LCI President !!!
Food and drinks were served but apparently dancing was much more important for us than the rest. We had a great time together! Seethas visit gave me the opportunity to show my friend circlers and country to her.
I ‘ve arranged meetings all over the island with circlers and I ‘ve tried to guide her in a short period of time to Troodos mountains, Pafos, Limassol and Larnaca. The members around the island responded to my call to arrange these meeting to suit us. I really thank them for that.
