The Moroccan Ladies Circle has organized the chartering of its third circle in Rabat, after those held in Casablanca in 2004 (LCC1) and later in Rabat in 2005 (LCR2). The chartering of this third circle, named LCR3, was held between December 6th and 9th, 2007.
The Moroccan Ladies Circle has organized the chartering of its third circle in Rabat, after those held in Casablanca in 2004 (LCC1) and later in Rabat in 2005 (LCR2). The chartering of this third circle, named LCR3, was held between December 6th and 9th, 2007 with the participation of two ladies from Estonia, representatives of Morocco’s Roundtable and members from the 41 club. The success of this event will hopefully enhance the role of Ladies Circle in Morocco and to allow LC Morocco to apply for an international full membership.

Welcome Drink
The first-day chartering started on Thursday, December 6th, 2007, with a welcome drink hosted by our dynamic lady, Bouchra.

Couscous Day
On Friday, our guests got to visit the main touristic sites of Rabat, before enjoying a Moroccan traditional meal –couscous- offered by Aziza from LCR2 in her wonderful farm – a landscape our Estonian guests were amazed at.

Friday / Private Party
They could also enjoy massage by comforting hands in a Turkish bath (Hammam). Later on Friday, a private party was organized in one of the most known restaurants of Rabat, “Le Grand Comptoir”.

Moroccan restaurant
The D-day started with a visit to the old city of Rabat, followed by a meal at Moroccan restaurant “Tajine wa Tanjia”.

Chartering Ceremony
The chartering ceremony started at 3:00 PM and took place at the Caisse de dépôt et de gestion (Deposit and Management Fund) amphitheatre. It was marked by a warm, friendly ambiance. Ladies Circle and Roundtable members as well as journalists were present, and so were the presidents of LC Morocco and LCR3 who showed tremendous support for this initiative. Some of our sponsors showed off as well as close families wich made the ceremony look even more official with a very solemn print nevertheless of much of emotion and softness.

Gala Night
The Gala Night was held at the restaurant « Le Swing » under the theme “Side by Side”. Ladies and Rountablers gathered in a convivial, feasting atmosphere they are the ones and only holding its secret.

Brunch in the old city
The closing session took place the following morning parallel with a brunch organized at a Ryad in the old city of Rabat, where guests were allowed to taste some Moroccan traditional meals.
