President introduction for 2008/09

Dear friends,
Greetings from Ladies Circle International!!

A melting pot of many cultures, traditions, ideas, thoughts….. to do our little bit to make this world a better place through our friendships—that is Ladies Circle International (LCI). Spread in 36 countries we are very passionate about our motto of “Friendship & Service”.

“Coming together is begining
Keeping together is progress
Working together is success!!”

LCI takes pride in reflecting the truth in these words!! We are an international body for the past 49years and have stepped into our 50th Golden Jubilee year (2008-09). Today is possible for us, as we circlers(members) have been coming together, keeping together and working together successfully in ‘Friendship & service’ at all times. I salute all these circlers and well wishers of both past and present day who have made this day possible for us.

Its quite an honour, pride and privelege for me to be the President of an organization with such an illustrious past. At the same time I am humbled and touched by the confidence resposed in me by all. Thank you for this privilege to serve LCI as your President. My heartfelt thanks to my parent circle Vijayawada LC 52 and Ladies Circle India for their continued encouragement and support in all my endeavours.

What makes circling special? Its none other than the distinct touch that each and every one of us lend to everything that we do in circling. Keeping this special touch of ours in focus, the Motto for the year is “Golden Touch Of Circling”. It reflects a touch of yours, mine and ours!

With just about 13000 members across the world, we definitely are a force to reckon with as we are all young, dynamic, full of life and raring to go. Lets channelise all these to turning the year into a golden one. Remember our Golden touch can put a smile on the face of that adolescent girl who is “Not a girl, not yet a woman”. So go ahead in making a difference to her life by supporting our International Service Project 2007-09, “SARIS”. We, the LCI Board look forward to your continued support in working together and being there for each other to take circling a step ahead in ‘Friendship and Service. I will be waiting with open arms along with LC India to welcome you all to our 50th LCI Conference, our Golden Conference Fiesta@50, August 26th-29th,2009 at Bangalore. Lets rejoice and participate to make this world a better place for you and for me and the entire human race through circling! To all our friends, who are guests visting our website—Thanks for giving us your attention and time. We value it. Needless to say, your “touch” can also make a difference in making this world a better place by supporting Ladies Circle and its causes.
